sand cats are pretty good
but black footed cats are better
this is a fully grown adult

they're like the inverse of a Pallas cat: while Pallas cats are even mad when they're cute, black footed cats are even cute when they're mad

they're one of the world's smallest wildcat species, tied with the rusty spotted cat:

and the kodkod:

in conclusion, cats.

I always used to live with cats, and for the past 5 or so years haven't been able to.
same, 8 years since i moved away from home into a succession of no-pets-allowed rented places
the last place i lived we were lucky enough to have a super friendly neighbourhood cat who kept sneaking in
we didn't know his real name so we called him Chubbs

he came to a Halloween party and rolled around on the spare bed begging for pats

he would wait outside the front door at times he knew people would be coming and going, and follow them down the road or into the house

when people were in the kitchen he would stand outside the back door and yell until someone paid attention to him

I just think they look super cool and I love watching them, especially when they're feeding or renovating their homes. I like that they're easy and low-maintenance as far as care, and exceptionally long-lived. They're super cute to me, but most people don't find spiders "cute," so I've refrained from posting pics.

Is it possible to keep jumping or peacock spiders as pets because drat they're cute

people do keep jumping spiders as pets, there are a few guides if you google 'jumping spider pet' or 'jumping spider care'
usually you'd have to go out and catch one since they're not really sold anywhere so what species you can get depends on what's native to your area - unless you live in northern Australia you're not gonna be keeping a peacock but you probably have some other cute and pretty species you can find :)

sure, when a hamster gets really flat it's 'cute' and 'adorable' and 'aww look at him hes meltin'
flat spider is amazing and i love it with all my heart (but despite being a huge spiderfan i would generally endorse putting spiders under a spoiler tag because arachnophobia is ridic common)

jumping spiders are the low hanging fruit of 'bugs are cute, actually' but that doesn't make them any less adorable
