As for the results for a battle with the Qura'xxo ships, much depends on how the battle would take place. Were we to face all 36 ships at once in a direct fight we would inevitably lose. The key to victory would be to fight intelligently, using our superior speed to stay beyond the reach of the enemy as much as possible, while focusing individual targets as best we can.

As far as I know, the nebula restricts movement into a square containing it, not out. Confirmation from gravedust would be nice though.

Indeed. It takes the extra movement to go INTO a blue sector. Moving out of one is free.
