Kind of lazy of the Heels to give up that last bucket, but still a great finish to the half. Halftime likely saved Nova from a UNC run.

Ugh. UNC played like dog-poo poo. I would say I don't know how they're up 5 at half but obviously I do - uncharacteristically fortunate from the 3-point line. I wouldn't want to rely on that again in the 2nd half. Guards played well scoring the ball, but they need to get the drat ball to the bigs.

Man, I was making dinner during the first half of the game and I kept wondering why the announcers seemed so pro-UNC. Turns out, I had TNT on with the UNC feed.

I can't claim to be an expert but in the KU game they were surprisingly effective at denying the ball inside, even though they're a smallish team. I'd imagine part of it was KU being real dumb (I particularly remember a possession when their smallest guard was on Ellis and they didn't even try to get him the ball), but I think they're supposed to be pretty good at that.

Inability to feed the post is my biggest gripe with the college game in general. I HATE watching games where it's all guards passing and dribbling around the perimeter and settling for long jump shots after running down the entire clock without ever getting the ball inside. And there are A LOT of games like that in college.
