Haven't they done that almost every year since TT released? First it was "it'll be part of the next GT" and then "we're making a sequel/remake" ... with how long it takes them to make a GT, and how they've kinda gotten worse and worse, I'd be surprised to see a new TT.

Agreed. If you're one of those people who hate blatant fanservice, just don't bother watching past the 19 minute mark. (There's a pretty skippable bit while they're in the hotel as well.)
