It's amazing what they can do with computers these days.

Tall people are a little more likely to have heart problems, Moses Malone just died of heart issues at 60. Also, being tall makes normal things a pain in the rear end. I'm 6'-2", and flying coach sucks for me. My knees are constantly pressed into the back of the seat, I can't imagine being any taller. Plus, lots of clothing needs to get special ordered because stores won't carry things tall/large enough. I'm like right at the cusp of still fitting into clothes at stores, but I still special order stuff like dress shirts because the sleeves are always too short.

I feel like the taller you get the worse your quality of life is and also the greater the danger of dying young because your heart goes out.

Unrelated I have a friend who is 6'9 (I'm 5'11) and it's next to impossible to hang out with him unless he's sitting down. It's exhausting on the neck to just hang around him.

Interesting

Imagine to how he feels looking down all the time

That is sort of my problem too. I have a 16 neck and a 35/36 sleeve. Most of the time I can't find a shirt past 34. My wing span is like 77" or so. I also have like a 35 inseam, but I usually make 34 work because I can find those.

Every single year the Ivy League takes a break from fucking up the world through its various alumni to fuck up everyone's bracket instead.
In general bodies are weird and off-the-shelf clothing truly fits maybe 15-20% of the population even in "normal" size ranges.

Congrats on your successful genetic coin flip.

(Jackets are mostly OK for me but pants a total mess; fortunately I'm an academic, so I can buy pieces off the rack and know that almost everyone around me will be equally badly or worse dressed.)

Seemingly out of nowhere, Kansas got a 6'10 transfer Evan Maxwell out of Liberty. His brother is 7 feet and considering joining him. So after his year for transfer KU could conceivably have two 7-footers (Maxwell and Udoka) and two 6-10 guys. :stare:

It is definitely not great seeing all of these players transfer to not Michigan schools while actual Michigan has 2 open scholarships

After earlier saying that he would definitely stay in the draft, reports are coming out that Troy Williams is still "50-50" on returning to Indiana.

Pacers worked him out so there seems to be some interest out there, probably late 1st territory. He could probably improve on that by staying, but can't fault a guy if he is sure of being taken in the 1st round. 2nd is a lot more dicey.

Yeah, I was 100% expecting Troy to leave so I wouldn't be upset at all if he ends up going. It would be an awesome bonus if he stays another year though.

ISU also had a guy a few years back that had to sit for a year because he allegedly got paid some money to play in Germany. I don't think he ever ended up playing a game because of all the eligibility questions.

That will probably be the case here. The kid's parents say he never got paid, the team says they did pay him, etc etc. He'll be in the draft next year whether he plays a game for State or not.
