That Robot posted:it's not obsolete if Putin is scheming i don't give a poo poo about gay paree, but that's not exactly a realistic threat. the euros have literally never pulled their weight in nato, so it's not like they give a poo poo either. crimea, south ossetia, these places are not us national interests and irrelevant to our security. if the russians want to have a regional sphere of influence again that's their prerogative. if the euros have a problem with that, they can have a go at playing world police. maybe deploy the world's moral superpower to check russian aspirations, idk.
