I've noodled with most of the links here to prevent a win10 upgrade but insofar as I've experienced the following link is the only way to actually keep it from happening. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3080351 Yeah you'll have the little gwx.exe running most of the time but the popup only happens when you reboot which is good enough for me.
