We should have a SASAwards. The Wayne Gretzky Award for poster of the year. The Austrian Mook for Shitposter of the year. The Okposalypse Memorial trophy.

no rookies were really that bad vs. expectations this year. i didn't realize drouin had already played so much last year so since he's out i wasn't really sure who else qualified. i guess bennett and reinhart would be towards the top due to their draft position but their seasons weren't that bad either

Reinhart maybe?

Frank Vatrano scored 33 goals in 33 games in the AHL but only managed 11 points in 40 with Boston, which is probably a little less than fans were hoping for. Darnell Nurse finally burned an ELC year but failed to save the Oilers and wasn't very impactful. Griffin Reinhart is in the same boat, drafted in between Galchenyuk and Rielly but this is technically his rookie year, only managed 1 point and kinda sucked. Oh yeah noted sought-after college FA Mike Reilly was terrible Anthony Mantha didn't do much but he only barely made the cutoff at 10 games Koopa Kid fucked around with this message at 17:25 on Apr 11, 2016 |

My vote was Nurse, dude was bad and Ristolainen who was picked a spot later is so much better than him.

Vatrano played for the Bruins first though, then scored those goals after being sent down so there were no hopes to be dashed.

my votes for the daigle, by the way, were reinhart, bennett, and ehlers, none of whom were bad but they didn't light the world on fire either nurse is probably a good pick but his season is also completely unsurprising for a player of his age and style, he'll probably be good but isn't likely to come into his own for several years

The Hunter award should be for on-ice conduct, and there should be a separate one for off-ice conduct. Either the Mike Danton Award, or the Eddie Belfour Award for One Billion Dollars.

Even with what Keith did I cant find room for him in the top 3, even splitting it into on-ice and off-ice. Reminder that Raffi Torres did in fact start the season as an NHL player on an NHL team before taking another healthy long suspension for being a dickbag shitmonster and is eligible for votes.

Picked Nick Ritchie for the Daigle for his 4 points in 33 games, 10th overall pick. Compard to: Nylander 8th overall, 13 points in 22 games; Ehlers 9th overall, 38 points in 72 games; Larkin 15th overall, 45 in 80.
