I was trying to pre-order this on Playstation last night but all the sudden my credit card does not work and sony will not help me so I think I'm going to break down and buy this one on Xbox One. I really hope a fix for summoning is on the way. On PS4 I can't see more than one summon every ten or so minutes. I get summoned via my stone and auto summoned via covenant on a regular basis. My network settings are all good. Not soft banned or anything. If I make a new character it is good for a bit but the summons dissappear within an hour or two.

So I have heard there is no restrictions on summoning if you use a password. Is this correct and if so what are the chances of someone helping a new character at a low soul level get to NG+? I really want to do a chameleon trickster build to help by wearing way of the blue and sitting in the great swamp. Figured it would be fun to help out the blue bros.
