MacDougall posted:Apollo Crews isn't going to get the crowd on side with what he's doing I don't think. I am fairly worried that he's going to be lost in the shuffle... Can he talk? Not really. He would get over if they booked him in real squash matches and let him bust out some of the stuff he did in Dragon Gate. As it is now, a guy who can do a standing shooting star press is struggling to put away a member of the job squad with a not very good spin out power bomb.

does anyone have an update on kalisto also I guess there was a Dark Match on Raw quote:Was there also, the Wyatts turned back around to corner Roman then AJ and Dean came out to save em. Turned into a dark match with the faces going over. Dean and AJ stuck around to chill with the crowd but Roman slunk off after just CONSTANT boos.

The Edge&Christian Show is well worth watching. Aside from the Bayley stuff, you get references to December2Dismember, Mass Transit, Cesaro having the rug pulled from under him, AJ Styles being sent to a lonely cabin with 2 guys, and a lenghty segment with Ed Leslie.

That fan thing with AJ was so frightening and hilarious. Haters hate, I love the E&C Show.

I greatly enjoyed that RAW and almost everything on it, even The Miz's new gimmick of doing new "takes" of his promos. The only thing I really didn't enjoy was Dean Ambrose everything. At this point, if I see Dean walk down the ramp with any sort of prop, I'm fast forwarding through that segment. Give it a rest Gallagher.

Using Bray as the face foil while Roman devolves into an out and out heel under crowd pressure, if that is what they are doing, is one of the smartest things WWE have ever done. "I told you, Roman. The amount of official WWE accounts that tweeted out the #BulletClub tag attached to the clip of Anderson and Gallows tearing it up is really making me wonder if they got the Bullet Club trademark at some point. New Japan has pretty much phased it out now so it's possible.

Like, I guess had their character evolve from a dead end silly gimmick into something really good. Technically, Luke Gallows and Festus are the same character, one is just the sober version. I'm wondering if anyone else has successfully evolved a joke character into something worthwhile.

WCW Chris Jericho ---> WWF Chris Jericho I guess depending on your definition of worthwhile you could put 3MB in there for Slater (and Galloway if you want to count what he's done outside the company) You could argue that Ryder took a terrible gimmick and made something of it as well. Even though he had already had a WHC run, Daniel Bryan in Team Hell No is a pretty good example of taking a joke gimmick meant to go nowhere and turning into a monster (a monster, he turned into a monster)
