I've only played a few hours of DS3 since i picked it up on launch, and I honestly think that it's the best of the Souls games (and cousins like Demon's and Bloodborne). It really does feel like a 'best of' design ethos, and the game really sells what new things you can expect with the first boss (I am not afraid to admit he chumped my rear end at least 3 times on two characters), as well as in that little 'turn back' area. I am also fairly certain that the big lizardy thing in that area, that so effectively laughed off all attempts to poke it, might be a mature crystal lizard. If that's the case, then drat. And yes, Andre is still the best.

I am glad that like me you immediately and joyfully rolled into those crates. But I am sad that this is the last episode I will be able to watch until I am back in the same city as my PS4 and able to resume playing. Oh well.

Forgive my ignorance, but is "mooks having estus" a new thing? I don't remember seeing that before. Also, you're making me want to pick up this game, even though I would be so terrible at it.

I'm not sure what's different about this LP of a Dark Souls game, but it actually got me to want to play one of them myself (the first I guess, it's the cheapest and a good introduction). I'll just need to remember that unlike you I'll be dying every couple of steps I take.

Oh man, this game kept the simplified upgrade+infusion smithing of Dark Souls II as well as bringing back the heavy/sharp trees from Demon's Souls? I think I'm in love  Good thing I have no non-WiiU next gen systems, PCs that can run this or indeed money.

 be careful of picking fights with knights in back alleys A Note About Audio Quality: the balancing is a bit rough for the first session or two of streaming, but I fixed it fairly quickly and will not exist when I do my prerecorded videos. Sorry if you can't hear me, but on the bright side, this game's sound design is amazing! It's immersion! Appreciate it!

You handle the spaghetti heads way better than I did there. These are all from session 1 which. Actually refuses to upload from twitch, so, I guess, maybe this first batch won't be AS heavily edited as I intended. Update!  for the record, frostbite slows stamina recovery and cuts healing by a decent chunk as well. the thinking girl's status effect. obviously, i will never use it. Frostbite is very rarely used in PVP to my experience, strangely enough. The main weapon you get with the effect does require Twinkling Titanite, though. So maybe that explains it.
