They aren't totally insensitive. I'm sure they'll have her squint and not be able to pronounce her "L"s. Maybe give her buck teeth too, as a nod to the source material.

Yeah, lay off with the "anime is for pedophiles" poo poo. We're talking about GiTS here. A genre redefining piece of utterly brilliant art which contains NO pedophilia. Except for the couple times the main character runs around naked in a tweenbot body in front of a co-worker that's totally horny for her. And the time she's naked in bed with a twelve year old homeless boy and asks if he's down to gently caress. So unh, there you go. Three films and two seasons of a TV show which are widely regarded as the pinnacle achievement in anime, and AT MOST you've got like three or four examples of anything resembling any sort of creepy sex involving children. Truly anime's crowning glory.
