John Carpenter pre-2000 was flawless. Hell, I'll even go to bat for Vampires and Ghosts of Mars. They're bonkers in a way only a John Carpenter movie can be. And he always attracts an excellent cast. Good move, op.

Escape from NEW YORK had a good sound and a few good scenes but overall it's extremely slow and plodding The Thing loving owns, even though I think some of the practical effects look really dated they're still gross

tombstone is 90s as gently caress btw you silly billy also loving terrible, holy poo poo, when i was a kid i liked that movie but then i watched it again a few years ago and WOWO, is it poorly made still a little fun in parts, but man the editing and poo poo was so loving bad i could barely sit through it
