This one I've been alpha testing for a while and got really high hopes for. I've chatted up the devs a bunch and they're cool people, respond well to community feedback, and have some of the best design methodologies I've seen in MMOs. It's a full loot PvP game made explicitly to be accessible for people with day jobs. That means low grind, death that isn't crippling, with soft caps and catchup mechanics so you don't have to make it a second job. The devs have been consistently working on newbie/solo player QoL stuff and antizerg mechanics. Everything is friendly fire, and all your attacks are skillshots or AoEs, which leads to a lot of hilarity. It also means big zerg fights tend to quickly break up into a bunch of localized scirmishes and battle lines to keep from hitting allies, which makes them a lot more engaging imo. The combat itself is twitchy, hectic, and engaging, with a lot of build diversity. Gear is more about min-maxing your statline than gaining a strict numerical advantage over someone, so having it get looted isn't that big of a deal. I spent a lot of time running around naked dieing a bunch and having a blast. Game doesn't have enough content to support a goon community yet, but I'll be trying to wrangle one when it hits beta, which should be later this year sometime. Havent tried any official servers since 2006, was dead then, should be deader now. Last I checked UO Roleplay was a decent shard to play because they don't bot.

...is not a FPS @Pavlov, yeah I've also played in a past alpha test and it was a lot of fun. But my heart wants a Darkfall like experience with First-Person view and manual aiming.

I updated the OP. Did not include any of the Darkfalls because of the splintered community. If anyone wants to try to justify their inclusion, feel free. Das Tal sounds neat. Mortal Online does too (never played it), but I feel like I'm falling victim to some scam by saying that.
