Well, the sorta nice thing about batches for their /other/ shows is that you can choose how to watch them. Binge if you want, or parcel them out over a week or a month or whatever.
The problem for anime is of course that by the time they get all the episodes, they've all already aired elsewhere, which is disappointing.
