See, this is why I turned the game off in the fourth: First clue was, It was 90 minutes in at the fourth, so I had this feeling it was going to be a 4 hour game even in this age of MLB trying to keep it short. But the second predictor was that it was the Padres, so I knew it was going to end in some sort of ninth inning nonsense that would make the previous three hours and 45 minutes of watching feel worthless. Whether it's bad umps or an idiot decision by Bochy (like that one time in 2012 when he put gas can Edlefsen in there instead of Romo), every game against the Padres that isn't a Lincecum no-no always ends like this.
