I wouldn't describe it as a meltdown but the Spurs players did lose their cool and their discipline big time in the second half, especially when Chelsea equalized. All they had to do was stay calm, especially so when Hazard got subbed on and started clinically controlling the match as if we went back in time two years ago. 9 yellow cards in a single match is crazy. Again, I don't think it's a meltdown but the pressure definitely got to Spurs' heads.

I completely agree. Also, gently caress Spurs.

It was a massive meltdown. I thought at 90 +6 minutes there would be enough time for another brawl. I got 2 brawls and a fight in the tunnel.

They absolutely melted down. Walker and Rose in particular were determined to fight their way through the game. It was so unnecessary as well, yeah Willian and Costa were being little cunts but Lamela stamping? Why do you have to get involved?

A few tackles that could easily have been straight reds and a few tackles that would have been second yellows if not for Clattenburg playing advantage and play being ended by another horror tackle. Every time he blew his whistle Spurs players were attacking Chelsea ones. I wouldn't be surprised to see a few retroactive bans for poo poo like Lamela stepping on Fabregas.

Also watching it back Poch didn't help things at all. In real time it seemed like he waited for things to really kick off before coming on, but he was sprinting over immediately. Set a really bad example compared to how incredibly calm Raneri has been

Leicester have used the following XI on 13 occasions this season: Albrighton, Drinkwater, Fuchs, Huth, Kante, Mahrez, Morgan, Okazaki, Schmeichel, Simpson, Vardy No title winners have used as settled a side since 1993, when Manchester United named the same team o 17 occasions.

Both Dembele and Walker should've been off even before all the horror tackles after Chelsea equalised.

Manchester United have spent more on new players in the two-year reign of their current manager than the new champions have in their entire 132-year existence.

All this has me marveling at how good Costa is at getting away with his game. At this point I feel like I kind of have to respect how much of a oval office he is because he gets away with all of it.

They have been playing 1 game a week for a long time. If you compete for CL, FA cup, PL at the same time you can get 3 games a week, squad rotation is mandatory or someone is getting injured.
