Then you've got the veterans who are not even going close to full speed because they know better. And roster cutdowns don't happen until much later, at the end of preseason. So I feel like no one is really in a position battle at this point. And most of what you see reports of is so rudimentary it's hard to assign it much value. And yeah, if someone gets cut now, it's not because they didn't make as the 4th or 5th corner or whatever. It's because they're injured or some other non-performance related issue.
