Please just last until Brady retires Dante.

Jesus Christ that sounds like he does not want to be there. Poor old dude just wants to play with his grand kids.

Also I can't believe he had to pay for tickets after coaching for the team for decades. Christ NFL teams are cheap.

I've never understood the hype surrounding Chik Fil A. Whenever I've had it it's nothing but a basic chicken sandwich, not any better than any other major fast food joint.

I mean some positional battles kind of matter, too, right?

I don't know how much you really infer from anything in this period. Players spend much of their time doing drills. All activities are without pads and there is no contact. This time of year every team has starters who are nursing injuries or being protected that barely participate. Then you've got the veterans who are not even going close to full speed because they know better. And roster cutdowns don't happen until much later, at the end of preseason. So I feel like no one is really in a position battle at this point. And most of what you see reports of is so rudimentary it's hard to assign it much value.

And yeah, if someone gets cut now, it's not because they didn't make as the 4th or 5th corner or whatever. It's because they're injured or some other non-performance related issue.

Yeah, that's true I guess about the guys on the rear end end of the roster being on thin ice.

But you know the reports about "QB is light years ahead of where he was last season!" are so ridiculous.

I wonder how he settled on six games. Seems like a weird choice. Four would be a quarter of the season, eight would be half. Either of those would make more sense. Six just feels arbitrary and wrong. Come on Omar, do this right!

The one thing the NFLPA accomplished was to water down training camp to the point where it barely resembles real football. Look at this poo poo:

•Players may be on the field for a total of no more than four hours per day.
•Players may participate in no more than one padded practice per day, which shall be no longer than three hours of on-field activities.
•There must be at least a three-hour break after the first practice.
•The second practice on the same day may only be for a maximum of the remaining available on-field time and has to be limited to only walk-through instruction (no helmets, full-speed pre-snap and walking pace after the snap).
•The three-hour limit on padded practices begins as soon as position coaches start to coach players on the field.

It is no wonder dudes look good when they're not being hit.
