Please make your voice heard. I've been noticing that a popular thread topic is ITT threads......while some of these are good, the majority of them just seem to me to be super low effort and boring and they take up space and I hate them and I start trembling everytime I see a new one pop up and I just can't take my eyes off them and its become a real thorn in my side So what do you, thhe POSTERS OF GBS FORUM, have to say?? Should I just indiscriminatly shut them down as soon as they open like a whack-a-mole game where I'm crouched over the game board with an insane grin and blood lust raging in my eyes? (this is my choice) Or should we tolerate them? VOTE NOW! I'll do whatever the people want.

they were banned for a long time for this exact reason, then sorta allowed again after the October madness. they are a tool, like any other, ripe for abuse gas the bad ones keep the good ones

maybe we could compromise and adopt a system where the popular itt threads that people are enjoying get bumped to the top of page 1 each time someone posts in it, and the dumb threads no one likes get pushed down by other, more popular threads until disappearing entirely from the first page. idk if SA has the budget to implement a complex system like that but i think it would work pretty good.
