(imagine getting your friends together to go see Aunt May, imagine the tabloids discussing the hot young male actors who are up for the role of Ms. Lion!); and now they’re maybe making a GI Joe/Transformers/MASK shared universe or something I think? I think the rumor was that New Mutants takes place closer in time to the late '80s or early '90s. Deadpool takes place in the current day on the timeline so NTW wouldn't even be alive during the time of the movie.
