Super Mario Bros 3

"Everybody betray me. I fed up with this worl." - Iron man, shortly before throwing his helmet out of a window.

Ever since the last thread was posted wayyyyyy back in 2013, the comic movie landscape has changed significantly. Ant Man and Batman v. Superman actually got made AND came out (and one of them was really good!); Amazing Spider-Man was supposed to have two more sequels and also like a Sinister Six movie for some reason and also maybe a goddamned Aunt May movie? (imagine getting your friends together to go see Aunt May, imagine the tabloids discussing the hot young male actors who are up for the role of Ms. Lion!); and now they’re maybe making a GI Joe/Transformers/MASK shared universe or something I think?

Comic movies are fun and weird and for the most part, they’ve gotten pretty good in the past decade! Can the studios keep it up? I dunno! Let’s talk about it! This thread’s for discussing comic movies of all shapes and sizes. What’s the most racist: Tilda Swinton as the Ancient One in Dr. Strange or James Remar as Raiden in Mortal Kombat? Who’s done the most damage to their respective properties: Zack Snyder’s grimdark murder paradiso or just every damned Fantastic Four movie - just all of ‘em? And what’s the thing you’re most looking forward to: Hollywood to finally finish figuring out what manga is or the inevitable barrel scratching of Marvel studios, giving rise to a film starring Razorback and his ELECTRIFIED MANE?

So let’s talk comic movies. Here’s what’s in the pipeline:

Be sure to stay in your seat during the credits after Civil War, because the music is good and a whole lot of people worked really hard on the film so they deserve to have you at least glance at their names.
