I like how in the books it's obvious that bond isn't some classy spy guy as much as he's a spoiled wealthy autistic who got drafted and he's really grouchy about it "Shaken, not stirred!!" he says clenching and unclenching his hands, tapping his left pant leg exactly 11 times "prime numbers prime numbers shaken not stirred"

The one scene in Duckman were he imagines himself as a fancy spy was shot with actual actors. The guy who played the rich dude in The Nanny was Duckman and did a fantastic Bond. So yeah, the best Bond is the smug rear end in a top hat from The Nanny. These days he does the chav voice in Saint's Row so he keeps owning.

Actually Roger Moore is even worse than lazenby, but it's a moot point because James Bond is perhaps the least interesting serial character in the history of the visual arts, and furthermore the bond series is a tool of capitalist propaganda

OHMSS is the best 60s Bond after From Russia with Love and Goldfinger. Might be better than Goldfinger a little because Lazenby plays Bond as this young arrogant prick.

I really like Thunderball even if it dragged on a bit. Like the spectre plot was so real (I liked never say never again as an odd 80s relic... that cheesy theme song) and the setting gorgeous and the underwater battles were stunning particularly in HD and loving Vulcan bombers and Largo

I've seen almost all the Bond movies, so here's my opinions: Dr. No - Alright From Russia with Love - Awesome (Robert Shaw owns so hard in this one) Goldfinger - Awesome Thunderball - Alright (the underwater fights are unusually boring) Casino Royale - Garbage except for the Woody Allen scenes and the ending. You Only Live Twice - Good (extra points for Donald Pleasence as Blofeld) On Her Majesty's Secret Service - Awesome Diamonds Are Forever - Alright Live and Let Die - Awful (the worst Bond after Die Another Day) The Man with the Golden Gun - Alright The Spy Who Loved Me - Awesome Moonraker - Awesome (the opening skydiving scene is one of the best setpieces ever) For Your Eyes Only - Alright (I honestly can't remember anything about it other than Sheena Easton popping up in the credits) Never Say Never Again - Haven't seen yet, doesn't seem worth it. Octopussy - Blah A View to a Kill - Garbage (how the gently caress do you waste CHRISTOPHER loving WALKEN as a Bond villain?) The Living Daylights - Good Licence to Kill - Awesome (Robert Davi is one of the best villains, also has kid-faced Benicio del Toro!) Goldeneye - Alright (bonus points for great parts for Sean Bean and Alan Cumming, but the orgasmic assassin is stupid even for a Bond movie) Tomorrow Never Dies - Good (even better for basically having Jonathan Pryce as Rupert Murdoch as the villain) The World is Not Enough - Haven't seen yet Die Another Day - Garbage Casino Royale - Awesome Quantum of Solace - Blah Skyfall - Awesome Spectre - Alright (It's at least the best-shot film in the series)

lazenby's bond was just him doing a really crappy sean connery impression. even roger moore did his own thing, though of course that thing was creepy grandpa bond.

He was OK, I read he got a big head over it though. Definitely the weirdest Bond movie I've ever seen. My favorite is Dalton; I think its a shame he didn't get 2-3 more films in his run.

Dalton and Lazenby both own but this here is the best bond https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tma-yJJzGOw "you're the only white guy the casting agency had, you're going to be james bond, can you please shave your hideous sideburns" "no" "welp alright, let's start shooting"
