Bond is always a reflection of the times he is filmed in for better or worse so 60s bond is classy + cold war 70s is campy/on drugs 80s tries to be serious but is covered in glitter 90s/early 00s is on the cusp of technological self-awareness that eventually changes the nature of goofy bond gadgets late 00s/present is cynical and gritty
