Sriracha is pretty tasty, makes for a good ketchup substitute.

Honolulu, Hawaii @ a Vietnamese sandwich shop. I was like "what's this red sauce?" and it turned out to be sriracha.

Thai Noodle House, a little Thai restaurant by the Hole In The Wall on the drag in Austin that's since been turned into a hostel, back in early 2004. I only remember this because it was my high school girlfriend's and I favorite newly found restaurant and we were so madly in love.

I like the black label extra hot version. It's not actually that much hotter but it's better.

I bought the sauce (sriracha) at the Asian store after hearing good things about it in a meme. I think I ate it on homemade tacos. It was good.

That stuff's okay. Except for when it crusts up all around in the cap and you accidentally sprinkle some dried up hotsaus boogers on your machaca breakfast. Now THIS. This is some good poo poo. Pretty hot but it has a very bold flavor to balance it out. Plus it's cheap, like ridiculously cheap.

I used to eat breakfast at a place in Marysville, CA that had really good food despite looking like a shack from Deliverance. Tried some on my scrambled eggs one morning and was completely underwhelmed, and was just as confused as my waitress about why it was so popular.

I dunno, when I was a kid? I'm mexican, I have filipino in-laws. I eat flames for breakfast, lunch and dinner. so... I never understood the reason people make such a huge fuss over this one specific hot sauce in particular. It's not even that hot, and it's way too cloyingly sweet for me to really enjoy. It's probably weird because I love candy that's spicy and sweet, but it's a different kind of sweetness with sriracha? Like, it has this sickeningly sugary/syrupy aftertaste that's just nasty to me.

I couldn't handle spicy sauces & poo poo until I started going to bars. You know... catch a buzz, try new stuff. I've always prefered to wash down my Hot Metal wings with a beer instead of loving soda pop. I suppose Taco Bell would be an exception but even the Diablo sauce aiin't all that hot. Hey nebab are you dare or that miserable shithead with the fake beard?
