I've been on the gently caress the Blues bandwagon before it was cool. The Blues were easily the most boring team in the playoffs this side of Minnesota and that's not even acknowledging the systemic nonsense that goes on in Missouri. Sharks or bust.

i want the pens to win it, but pretty much anybody else winning it is ok with me. maybe not the lightning because that means they'll definitely have to beat the penguins first, and i would not enjoy that, but they're not the washington capitals or new york anythings which is good

I'm actually inclined to agree. Sharks winning would make a long-suffering huge hockey fan friend of mine extremely happy, so that's good. Blues would be another team winning for the first time, so that's cool. Lightning are ok and it's nice to see people here in Central Florida pretend to be excited about hockey briefly. Pens winning would be great, but I've seen three Cup runs in my lifetime so I'm ok with other people having that feeling. That said, go Pens hail satan

The Lightning-Penguins series is a tough call. Pens did well in setting down the Caps, but how will they match up to the much different Bolts team? The Bolts will surely come in as the more relaxed squad after their relatively easy round 2. Furthermore they are yet another team with a goalie good enough to prevent the Pens from reaching their customary 5 goals per game. I can't imagine the Pens losing a series though. They're a legit threat to score at any time (except maybe 5 on 3 shorthanded) and their goalie(s) are solid.
