The night before the news of Bowie's death I remembered jokingly saying to someone, "Wait, Isn't David Bowie dead?" in reference to a song by the Flaming Lips from years ago. The next day I was listening to large playlist and Bowie had come on (Young Americans). That little clip plays where a lady sings "I read the news today, oh boy," and that's when I had a weird feeling and looked him up on my phone and, sure enough, he had officially died and it was all over the news. Time may change me, but I can't change time.

Yeah it kinda freaked me out a bit but Bowie was a super groovy dude so I just rolled with it like an otherworldly DBowe had just smiled and winked and tossed a magic glass bubble-sphere my way. That's my David Bowie story thanks for asking
