 Ocher. People in the olden-times used to use this color to decorate things. They just found bits of it in clay. I can see how dyes is a luxury resource in CIV. Because the dyes prior to dyes was literally "urine, bile, or blood?" God, what a depressing dark age.

Whatever that default obnoxious green color is in MS Paint. It's like a bright neon green. I could do without that color. Who does light think it is? Get your crests and troughs together, light.

colours don't really exist in a vacuum. there are plenty of colours that are purely perceptual, that our mind constructs based on proximity to other colours. maybe if you think some colours are terrible you should try them in a different scheme, and you might grow to love them
