you can argue chamberlain against jordan though i would say you lose, you can argue kareem for 2-4 all time, kareem wasn't over with people the way jordan was because he was reserved with the media, though he was THE best college player ever personally though i think curry is extremely overrated. look at lebron, he isn't a great free throw shooter, he isn't a great jump shot shooter, but despite those two flaws he can still dominate a game, curry isn't even close to lebron let alone in the best all time god bless of course in all of this we're forgetting magic, but that's another conversation for another day, shaq and kobe aren't in the top 5 Do it ironically fucked around with this message at 20:27 on May 28, 2016 |

another thing to note about the fraud warriors, is when jordan left the bulls, the bulls were still a great team, they had great depth and solid all around, people forget that year after jordan they put up really good numbers, meanwhile golden state without curry is just a better than average team in a year where there were so many terrible teams

Golden State's ball movement is like all-time greatest. Sure if you take curry out, they suck, but that's because then they have only one outside threat to cycle to, and defenses can dissect them. Replace Curry with another long-range shooter and I bet you'd have a team that makes the conference finals consistently. Agreed though that it's Kareem/Wilt/Jordan top 3. Wish I'd seen Russell in his day, because pulling poo poo off like hauling down 40 rebounds in a Finals game sounds pretty good on paper, but who knows.

i dont disagree but what i'm trying to say is that the bulls team faced a better quality of competition and when they didn't have their best player they were still one of the best teams, while imo the league right now is weaker, and the quality of talent from curry to the next best to the next best is a big drop

This is a pro click. It's too hard to compare players of greatly different eras. I mean, Wilt changed the game in ways that Jordan never had the opportunity to. "During his career, his dominance precipitated many rules changes. These rules changed included widening the lane, instituting offensive goaltending and revising rules governing inbounding the ball and shooting free throws (Chamberlain would leap with the ball from behind the foul line to deposit the ball in the basket)." His 2nd pro season he averaged 50.4 ppg. Several seasons later he led the league in assists. But if you were to put Jordan into the era when Wilt played, he would have dominated ridiculously hard as well.
