This afternoon I watched the first episode of Cleverman and I have to say I'm quite impressed. What was better than what appears to be a great TV series highlighting the plight of both Indigenous people and asylum seekers and refugees, were the negative reviews. Most of the negative reviews that I read were from the idealogical position that the show is racist, dumb, and continuing the dialogue of Indigenous people crying wolf in regards to feeling oppressed. This mention of racism was either that of mentioning the show being racist to white people, or being racist to white people while secondarily mentioning that to a lesser degree it is racist to Indigenous people also. It may not mean much to many, but I felt almost amused at the fact that by watching this show I learned many new things about Indigenous culture, language and history. Meanwhile people were too concerned about the mention of white people being loving oppressors when they are trying to get their TV-show instant gratification that they feel the need to write a 600-word critique of why this show was racist and wrong and also very very bad. Take from this what you will, I'm between multiple exams and this is my brain speaking, you shall listen.

I made a formal report at the local police station earlier, regarding the vehicle that reversed into me and my motorbike yesterday. I'm happy that the plates matched the description of the vehicle, and given it was a hit and run I'm hopefully, almost certain to be reimbursed for damages. The plates were registered to an address in Ballarat... Maybe that explains why he was so uncooperative, possible UPF soldier?? On the reals, I'm quite happy that I memorised the plates correctly until I arrived where my exam was about to be underway.. what a loving day. I just hope I can get the money back for my destroyed tire and towing bills... Disclaimer: I don't advise riding anywhere with a blown front tire, because holy poo poo. I'm in need of some assistance regarding how best to persuade, or at least, best inform some people I know on why they shouldn't vote for Leyonhjelm. I know of many of the reasons personally, but how best can I draw attention to he and his party's major flaws without my own bias just getting in the way. I have a few other friends who I want to try and get to consider voting Green, rather than socialist alliance or other parties... Any help/info/sources on Leyonhjelms shoddy ways would be very appreciated, and thanks in advance for your help.

I was glad to spend my night with a bunch of good friends, we were celebrating before a few of my friends head overseas for a few months. Even better was that out of the 15-20 friends around, all but one voted for Greens and most voting Labor second and leaving out Libs and all those horrendous parties. Only one out of 20ish voted for a few questionable parties with the worst being the sex party, so I am pretty happy with those 95% amazing voting appointments. I'm drunk, our political system is poo poo and hosed and bad.
