Welcome to You Must be New Here, a Mafia game for up to 21 players. Unlike most mafia games, however, this game does not need 21 players to start. It will start as soon as we hit 3 players. Players are free to sign up after the game has started, and will be assigned roles as they come. Since this is non-standard, the win conditions are slightly different than normal. Scum Win Condition: As scum, you win when you control the vote for two game days, or immediately if the game has hit max players. For example: On day three, there are 3 scum and 3 town. They control the vote, but 2 new players join the game, both town. Scum no longer controls the vote and play continues. Town Win Condition: As town, you win when there are no scum in the game for two game days, or immediately if the game hits max players. For example: On day three, there are 5 town and 0 scum. 3 new players join, 1 scum and 2 town. Since town has not eliminated scum, play continues. Town is not notified when there is zero scum. Other than that, standard mafia rules apply. 48 hour days, open nights.
