That's not to say that firefighters are pussies. I actually knew a guy that was a wildland firefighter who died. He did everything right, he popped his tent and kept his head down, but he and his whole crew died. He suffocated to death in searing heat.

You're right tho they mostly just sit around doing jack poo poo. It's gotta be a great job, 90% of the time. I knew a firefighter and we"d be chillin then he'd all be, "peace! Time to go chill out at the station!"
