Rockstar Spud is also using a Smashing Pumpkins song as an entrance theme

Has TNA sucked

HOTLANTA MAN posted:Has TNA sucked it wasn't a really blow away show. opener was probably the best match, some really great spots but kinda hurt by the ending being a small package cradle. the second match was just godawful and featured al snow blowing a whistle shrilly for 10 minutes the third match was a Knockout's title triple threat that featured the refs doing a countout just as Josh gleefully proclaimed "There are no countouts in this type of match" then some Knockout turned heel and gave Sienna the win then James Storm came out and said how he's spent 14 years with TNA and that he'd never give it away and wanted to give a match to some young guy in the back and then brought out someone 3 years younger than him. nothing match Eli Drake retained his title in a singles match, which featured no one in the ring for 5 minutes as they brawled out on the stage, and the ref didn't bother counting EC3 beat Miracle Mike Bennett in an alright match, but too many kickouts of finishers and the crowd didnt care then came the Hardys match, which was a spotfest that got a lot of cheers and Jeff got a bunch of concussions, but the big dive he was promising was a swanton from the ring post to a table under it. also a keyboard was broken and more rope breaks in a no-DQ match the tag match was second and was horrendously overbooked and featured not one, but two mist spots, a belt shot, and just crap the final match was Lashley vs Galloway which was pretty good up until the worst tombstone piledriver in the world that ended with Lashley's head a foot off the ground, and him selling it like it was death. eventually Lashley countered into a submission and Galloway let his arm fall once and the match ended.

Slammiversary was perfectly fine, but nothing worth going out of your way to see, good or bad, although I'm 90% sure nobody clued any of the referees into any of the rules of the matches.

purkey posted:Hell Rock/Austin did that in X7 tbh it isn't so much that they did it, it was just that the refs were poo poo in half of the matches the one good ref spot was when Abyss blinded a ref, which didn't lead to a dusty finish
