I didn't really like season 1 of True Detective tbh The lead actors were really good but I didn't care about them solving the mystery, I could barely even follow it.

I wouldn't because it doesn't matter and people are enjoying themselves making fun of a multi-billion dollar corporation that couldn't care less what they think anyway. Also this happens to be a forum with a certain biting tone of humor and discussion conflict should be looked at as a fertile opportunity for amusement rather than a road block in the way of serious discussion.

i complained a lot about the indie games on PS+ but then I started paying attention to humble bundle and realized sony is just kinda bad at picking out indie games most of the time.
