It's common knowledge that big, powerful weapons are super sexy. Ladies are still cool and all, but come on now, they can't really compete with a strong missile or a sabot round. And just like with porn seeing them in action is better than when they sit around and just pose. I wonder if the military has any problems with this? Do soldiers walk around with boners most of the time ?? I mean look at this !  or this festive looking thing (the guys probably rubbed one off after the photo)  mhhhhh the power !  So long !! my answer is of course rifling because by the time you get rifling you can pretty much roll over any other civilization that is still using musketmen to defend their cities. this is also the case with assembly line but for some reason you never have enough cash to upgrade your army
