they used to send home permission slips for parents to give permission for their kids to get hit by teachers, afaik nobody ever returned it

in high school I had an old rear end English teacher with a prosthetic leg, and this one time a bad kid stood on her fake foot and wouldn't let her move, she kept trying to walk away that would have been a good excuse for corporal punishment lol
