Went to Franklin's in Austin and waited 5 hours for some life changing brisket. Worth it. It helped that there was a group of us with chairs and beers to make the time go by faster

Some of us are doomed to use a single unit, so must carefully baby embers.

Once you understand brisket, you can pretty much make a great one from any heat source. Usually my BBQ is done with an electric smoker, outside when it's -35. BGE's are nice, but a charcoal grill and an oven can be just as good.
