Op desperately needs to aquire some minor loving SKILLZ. Also ok here goes. The giant chick and the sun are both illusions. By winning the game you don't save the world it just limps along for a few more cycles. Solaire dies. Gwyn dies. drat this game is no fun to spoil. But I can say one surprising thing at least. This game is ridiculously bright, cheerful, and happy. Don't believe me? Play dark souls 3 and report back.

I beat ds3 with kB+m and OP is right, the game is poo poo other than cutscenes and how the game looks. Otherwise you just exploit bad AI and run past everything all the time so you can roll around and sword spam some bosses. Let's play Myst instead

ds3 was the first ds game i played bloodborne owns, its great, but ds3 is just really boring the magic is fun i guess but i got to the endless poison swamp with the bullshit slugs and just lost interest completely

also in bloodborne you never really know what the hell is going on but if you have a general knowledge of Lovecraft you can pretty much fill in the blanks when I went to play DS3 the 'beginner's guide to the lore' i found online was like 80 pages of incomprehensible nerd poo poo which i didn't read so when playing DS3 i had absolutely no idea what was happening or why i was supposed to be killing everything except for some vague ideas about dragons

The big boobed lady is really a guy, the carpa demon is easy if you throw stuff at it, the only npc worth caring about is onion man, lastly the best weapon is dual wielding bonewheel shields. If you follow these steps you will win.

It's a pretty simple story, the world building stuff is just optional background info.
