UPDATE: I bought dark souls 2 because they don't have 1 on PSN. And boy is this game trash. Everyone who says this game is tough is wrong it's broken in a bizarre way. I'm getting raped by giant knights atm who are clearly out of range but hit anyway including hitting me when they swing forward but I'm hella far behind them. That and everytime I dodge or swing I cannot move for over 1.5 seconds. What a good mechanic to put in

if you are giving each other tips that involve exploiting enemy ai and manipulating the engine to get enemies stuck in walls the the game is not challenging it is broken and you are trying to justify the fact that you bought a broken game at full price

Quite honestly, the bosses in the Dark Souls games are too hard to fight solo. The only way to beat them with (without being an obsessive) is to beat them co-op. So, when you come right down to it, it's a co-op game.

My roommate bought dork souls cause he heard all the cool pro gamers played it but then he got like 2 hours into it and gave up because it was too hard and then a few weeks later he bought some dark souls ripoff game and kept talking about how cool it was because it took strategy and planning and very elite game and then he quit playing it after like 2 weeks cause the first boss kept owning him lol

dark souls has some p dumb gently caress you moments that an inital player could not ever reasonably be expected to avoid which might b its biggest flaw vbut it is the type of game in which you will look back on the things that you initially though were hard as babby piss idiot poo poo as you chainsaw your way through hordes of things with your eyes closed. like if your legitimate criticism of the game is that its too hard then y did u buy it. you were not hoodwinked in the experience u recieved

the trick to beating darksouls is so circle strafe around the enemy and roll through their attacks and plant some of your own in there, its very fun to do that against all of the challenging foes in the darksouls games
