It would never happen but I would love to see Modern Family end with Ed O'Neil waking up from a dream Newhart style. You'd hear Peg in the background calling out "Alllllllllllll" and then he'd scream and cry.

criscodisco posted:I hated it when the Bundys went to London. The stuff before they got to Lower Uncton was fine, but the story got really cheesy after they got there. I always wondered if they did that episode as satire for all the sitcoms in the 80s and went to England or France. Facts of Life and Family Ties off the top of my head.

shadow puppet of a posted:I'm going to setup a streaming service that specializes in single-season failed 90's Fox & Cable comedies. I'll call it "What Was That Show With The..." and charge people 9.99 per month to watch episodes of Top of the Heap, Vinnie and Bobby and that show where the entire premise was "strangers own a beachhouse together". My domain name will be my entire SEO spend. Does Herman's Head qualify?

Centripetal Horse posted:Pamela Adlon is sexy. I would kill you all to have a shot at her. I can remember Fox before MWC and they only had a few shows. One I really liked was Warewolf and kinda wish they would make a reboot of that. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xF0vdlAVRAk Also Get A Life and Parker Lewis Can't Lose are classics.

WescottF1 posted:That's Bobbie "Cherry Pie" Brown. Still appearing in metal videos to this day - see Steel Panther Live From Lexxi's Mom's Garage. Good stuff. Her auto biography is kind of interesting. She was married to the singer from Warrant and he had a pretty hosed up life.

I think I remember reading that they drank "Near Beer" on Cheers. Whiskey is usually just brewed tea.

In the later episodes, they made everybody nicer, I guess due to network interference, then it went to poo poo can got cancelled.
