What would a "useful upgrade" in this game even be? The closest thing to gameplay is the choice to go into the day on Distracted Mode or not. Actually, now that I think about it, some kind of Deus Ex emotional scanner system could come in handy to see when the game is going to do the bullshit "person asks for a drink but if you serve them something else you unlock SECRET DIALOG" thing, but knowing everything else this game has done they'd gently caress it up somehow and also make a joke about age of consent laws or something.
