Will David Ayer be able to save this flailing franchise from the grotesque mismanagement of Zack Snyder? Probably not, as Snyder is still an executive producer on this, ensuring the same sort of try-hard "gritty" pretension that destroyed Man of Steel and Batman v Superman. Relatively little has been revealed about the plot of the movie, including exactly who or what is the real villain beyond Enchantress (played by model-turned-"actress" Cara Delevingne) and the Joker (played by real-life Mary Sue Jared Leto), but I'm sure it'll fit on a Hot Topic t-shirt alongside the rest of the characters. I'm normally not one to do this, but given the title of the movie...who do you think is going to make it out alive? I figure Joker, Harley, and Deadshot are guaranteed to make it out. The first two for obvious reasons, and I imagine they'd want Will Smith back for more if the response to his character is positive. Everyone else is fair game.
