It was like an eagle eye view to spaceships that you'd fly around and shoot at other people and there were like 4 factions and upgradable weapons and ships and poo poo

Steam is in general a lovely bloated app now, the only reason I still use it is for streaming games. GoG is vastly superior.

It took a couple of hours to get used to but I'm pretty happy with the Stream controller now. It's pretty useful as a makeshift KB/M for native desktop apps when Big Picture Mode fucks up, as is its nature.

City of Heroes, my favorite game where I could be a flamboyant half-naked fairy man and grief roleplayers just by existing in the same space as them. RIP

My brother got an account suspended for 6 months early on in that game by trolling roleplayers on Virtue.

He made a character named UpersayAnmay and gave him super man's suit with a big U instead of the S. He then made his back story the same as Super Man's but changed most nouns in to pig latin.

He then shows up and plays the game, then gets some angry folks yelling at him on a few chat channels for his character. In the early days they were super strict about not making Marvel and DC knock off characters because Marvel had tried to sue or some poo poo. So a GM shows up to talk to my brother.

My brother plays dumb with the guy for almost an hour, managed to convince the guy he was from Eastern Europe and had never really heard of Superman aside from seeing a movie poster once when he was in Yugoslavia. So the GM explains Super-Man's entire story to my brother, while seeing what he can do to let him keep his character, all while my brother is reporting every single "hateful and derogatory" tell message he was being sent to said GM, and getting those people banned.

Then finally after an hour or so of this poo poo, the GM says his boss won't let my brother keep the character's costume or name. So my brother then replies "Fine then aggotfay, rename me Sex Suthor"

He was disonnected a few seconds later and wasn't allowed to log back in.
