The best part of Jackass was when they'd interact with real people who weren't clued in. The friendship and distrust combined is great, the concept is entertaining, and the ending is possibly the funniest part.

Wildboyz was definitely my favorite because I like nature shows. It answered several burning questions like how hard does that thing bite on rear end checks that Steve Irwin never answered. It was cool just to have them gently caress around with cool animals (and not hurting them of course)

That Red Rocket stunt in Jackass 2 is when I finally realised that Johnny Knoxville was a legit crazy/brave motherfucker. The explosion that rips a huge hole in the side of it could have easily torn him up. Maybe it's all adrenaline and when he gets home he locks himself in the shower with a bottle of bourbon. But that guy had the daredevil attitude. I feel bad for him breaking his pee-pee. Like he said in the clip where he hurt himself. "It's the only body part I care about"

I used to think Bam Margera was p cute  But now, yikes...  The Jackass guys were not very far away from one of the towns where I lived when I was younger. One of my friends used to work in a furniture store forever ago and Bam's parents had to constantly buy new furniture there because their son wrecked it so often. I believe the guy I knew was in high school at the time, he was about the same age as Bam. He hung out with him a few times and said that guy is definitely out there (no surprise) but that his parents were really nice. Most people from that area did not like Bam though once he became famous. A few other friends had worked for Ryan Dunn, one did some landscaping, I forget was the others did. They were very upset when he died and said he was definitely the nicest one by far in that group. Where Bam was a douche to the greatest degree, Ryan was always a really nice and grounded individual.

I never hated Bam and I understand the dislike for him but would we even have Jackass if he and his friends weren't making those CKY vids? Also as bad (and staged) as viva la bam was, they still had some fun times and I enjoyed watching the tomfoolery.
