It's a plausible concept, it has a whole bunch of engineering and safety issues, it'll take actual engineering work to see whether those are surmountable or not.

Reckon they should just make a big air hockey table style track and have some rubber baby buggy bumpers and you just have big long fanboats, like bayou stylee.

One of the issues is that even if all the engineering and safety problems are solved, at the speeds they're looking at, the passengers will be exposed to the kind of vertical and lateral accelerations closer to that you'd expect in a roller coaster. And there's no way to get away from that without making the track dead flat and straight from A to B. You can bank the vehicle around a corner to reduce the horizontal jerking motion, but all that does is transfer lateral acceleration into vertical acceleration which humans are even more sensitive to, and is more likely to cause motion sickness. It's not gonna kill anyone, but that doesn't mean it's gonna be a pleasant ride.

There must be a way to travel between the main train and the little embark hat. When the next station in your stop you go up into the hat, which is left at the station. A staircase or a ladder or something. Though how that would work with some lady with a stroller or wheelchair I don't know.
