What is Kid Icarus: Uprising?

Kid Icarus: Uprising is a 3D action game developed by Masahiro Sakurai for the Nintendo 3DS. The game places players in control of Pit, the leader of the armies of the goddess Palutena, as he fights to protect all of humanity from the nefarious forces of the Underworld Army led by the wicked Medusa.

Fight in the air and on the ground! Every level in the game contains an Air Battle, a Land Battle, and a climactic Boss Battle! Master all of these to stay on top of your game!

Tons of customization options! Choose from nine different weapon types with nearly a dozen weapons in each category, and take it a step further by equipping various Powers that give you all kinds of benefits! Buy more weapons with hearts in the Weapon Shop, grind down unwanted weapons into hearts, fuse certain gear together into a new weapon with Weapon Fusion, or turn a particular weapon into a Weapon Gem and send it out to others via StreetPass!

You can even customize the difficulty with the Fiend's Cauldron! The normal difficulty is 2.0, but by adding hearts into the cauldron, you can increase the difficulty as high as 9.0, or even lower the difficulty as low as 0.0! You can get even better rewards on higher difficulties, but be careful; if you die on a higher difficulty, you will be forced to play on a lower difficulty if you choose to continue.

There's even multiplayer! Up to six players can play together locally or online in Free-For-All or Light vs. Dark! In Light vs. Dark, you must deplete the enemy team's total life bar and cause their angel to appear (a form given to the last person that died), then defeat the angel to win the game! Use all your weapons and powers to the fullest in the multiplayer madness!

Lots of bonus features! Collect Idols based on the characters, locations, weapons, and items in the game, take on tons of different Challenges, or even offer up hearts to the goddess to bring her closer in spirit!

Amazing writing! A grandiose story, tons of likable characters, and loads of hilarious dialogue make this a game worth remembering!
