Update 3: Yeah, so I can win this any time now Days 150-211 Challenge in play No one to write the obituaries: Must kill every rebel agent if possible, run assassination missions against those with plot armour and wound them. Minimum ten corpses for this challenge to succeed. Current Count: 2 State of the Galaxy at the update. Got a noghri team to kill the wounded Raftican, running espionage on Chandrila, and inciting on it and Corfai. Soon, we’ll see where poo poo is and who else will die Goddamit it. You were so sucky at your jobs you healed her? The gently caress dudes Anyways, looks like the Rebels are trying to break our blockade. It’s probably one or two ships, which will run away. Or not. This could be a big battle. What’s worse, we are a little outnumbered fighter wise. Good news, most are y-wings? Wait, no, that’s the opposite of good. Hmm, who should I target. I bet I could pop the corvette quickly, then pump some damage into another capital. However, it’s not a threat at all, and destroying it wouldn’t mean crap. They pump em out quick enough, and they have enough spares. Now, I could, and should have, popped the escort carrier as it is the biggest threat on the field. As well, they pop rather easily. However, in the end, I targeted one of the bulk cruisers because they take more resources to build, and are the only thing on the field with turbolasers. As can be seen here, the y-wings swarm one of my dreads, and have weakened it’s shields. This could be painful. Meanwhile, for some reason, their x-wing escort (two squadrons) aren’t shooting up my ties, and are, in fact, attacking the Victory Destroyer.. I have no clue why. However, if you look at our side of the battle, the bulk cruiser we targeted has taken a fair bit more damage, down to half shields only. The damage continues to pile on. As you can see, we have knocked out the shields, and shield recharge entirely. All hits are now against the exposed hull. The rebel fleet is trying to run. What this means is they all need to turn around, make it to the edge of the map, and then jump to hyperspace, while my fleet pursues and shoots at them. Which actually really benefits the Victory. Since most of it’s guns are in the fore, it can continue to chase and shoot. And here is where I can tell I’ve got it. As you can see, the damage that has been piled on has knocked out it’s weapons and tractor beam completely. At this point in a battle where they didn’t run, I’d switch to a new target that was firing, saving this for mop-up because it poses no threat. Since they are running, I am just gonna keep piling on. Now, you may notice the engine is damaged. This means it’s moving slower than its compatriots to the running away point. It also means my fleet is faster, and can hit it better. And that’s all she wrote. As you can see, our barrage has knocked out the hyperdrive. This triggers a special combat thing. If a fleet has fled, and there are stragglers whose hyperdrive is down, they are instantly destroyed. No matter the hull left, or whatever weapons are left. This saves you time, and fleet damage. Flawless victory. Didn’t lose a single unit, and they lost 4 y-wings squadrons and a bulk cruiser. This is always something worth celebrating. Vagran and Duros think so, joining right away based off the diplo boost from blowing up an enemy capital ship. Woo, team uprising have worked and got it to flip neutral. As well, I got an espionage mission that went off well, which gave me intel on Commoner. So, it looks like this is a fleet base. The fleet we just whooped is heading here, as well as a bunch of weakass replacements. I’m gonna send the fleet over corfai to give them a bad time. And here’s their production. Wait, what’s that on the production. ZOOM-ENHANCE I have found their HQ. 7 days into the third update, and only 157 into the game, I have found the rebel base. So, as I said, I’m gonna finish off the bodies hitting the floor challenge. When I get 10 corpses, I will send a punishment fleet out and blow it the poo poo up. On the Planet we have this chubby fucker too, who is of course, going to die when he gets there. Palp recruits this guy, who as you can probably guess, I immediately set to facility research. I am sending all the Noghri I have to kill Tura this time. We shall see if it works Now this dread did take damage during the fight. As evidenced by it exploding. Shield recharge is only half strength. It is ok to send a ship with damaged shield recharge into combat. However, if it has a 0, DO NOT SEND UNLESS YOU HAVE NO CHOICE. It was start the battle with no shields whatsoever, and will be easy prey. Just for you Blind Sally, just for you. Sweet. The Death Star shield is different from other shields. It doesn’t provide bombardment defense. What it means, however, if you’ve seen ROTJ, that starfighters cannot attack the death star in space combat, rendering it invulnerable. (Note: offer does not apply to sabotage) I came, they ran like the cowards they are Here’s what happens when you tick that little goofy faced officer at the bottom. Lets you see where your officers are, and what they are up to. Useful if you need to see if any of your dudes are doing nothing. On the rebel side, it’s based off your last known intel, so it can be useful at times. Since my fleet can scare the enemy away pretty well as it is, I send the damaged dread back to Tralus and it’s shipyards to get it’s shield generators topped up. I figure that is probably the best move. Another recruit who can shoot people in the face. Sent him to Dash Rendar Hooray, my diplomats pull through again. In Corellia, all that remain are Corfai and Commoner, and I feel Corfai is gonna be flipping soon. I should have learned from the Thrawn Trilogy. Noghri are useless at assassinations. So, I sent actual characters and they got it done. From now on, it will be all the saboteurs on a fleet doing it, with Noghri as decoys. Kill count 3 Right, so I sent the fleet back to Corfai. I am outnumber 5:3 on fighters, and yeah, the fact I don’t have that second dread means they aren’t running. This time, at least, I target the escort carrier. And take it out. You may notice the blue sparkly effect around it. That means the Victory has it in it’s tractor beam and it can’t move. Which means, it cannot reach the jump out point. It blows up after the other ships jump, and I have another capital ship kill. Not quite as flawless a victory, but if the price for killing an escort carrier and a y-wing is 3 tie fighters than I will take it. I refill it with the garrison ties from tralus, and the other dread is fully repaired so it joins them. As we can see, Tralus is finished building its garrison of tie fighters and bombers, and as such is now building an escort carrier (I also off screen built up it’s shipyards). I figure the weak point of my Corellian fleet is fighter support, so that’s where it’s gonna work for now. I realized that Coruscant didn’t have shields at all to stop a ninja-snype invasion, so I blew up three construction yards. Will rebuild an advanced one, then two gencore 1s for now. So, I’ve been kicking so much rear end that Corfai straight jumps over neutral right into our camp, along with Yaga Minor. Looks like I almost have both sectors on lockdown. Jumping ahead, my espionage is starting to give me a peek into the sluis sector Turns out Page tried to run the blockade at Svriven and got injured. Trying to get through a blockade can lead to wounding, capturing or even rarely outright death! He’s swiftly marked for death anyways Bpfassh is probably gonna be target 1 when we roll in for a couple reasons. 1, I want to kill Tallon, depriving them of another researcher. 2, it is the least liked of their planets. If I blow up their troops, it may flip to use, and trigger uprisings across the sector. 3, their production scares me Thanks not Boba! Death count 4! Sullust has some targets for me to kill too Woo another jedi candidate. What the hell, Darth start training him now. He’ll lead the Sluis fleet with you Look at that fleet they got opposing me. Two bulk cruisers, three corvettes, and a good deal of fighters. That could do some damage before I kill them all. I’ll focus down one cruiser at least, then the other to see if I can make them really hurt Nope they ran rather than standing and fighting. Cowards Ooooh, nice intel package. So, we got a few more guys coming to join the party. I’m gonna send the league of assassins down to kill em all when they get there, assuming the blockade doesn’t. Well, of course, after I use them to kill all three chuckleheads on Corsin of course. Here’s the state of the galaxy at the end of this update. (I was feeling a little woozy from a CT scan so I stopped early). You may notice Corfai went back to neutral. I had a bombardment on Commoner hit the wrong thing. Not a big deal, I will get a diplomat there before the rebels do. In Sesswenna, I have only three red planet's left, with Corsin pretty much on a knife’s edge already. Uvena and Tralus are becoming shipbuilding hubs, and once I hit ten corpses, I’ll be able to hit hmenthe. Ta-tah for now. Challenge Status No one to write the obituaries: Kill count 4.

Character update 3 Imperial Characters Orlok Orlok is our first recruit of the update. As you can see, researcher for facilities, only good stat is leadership. I think I’ll make him General on Coruscant when we’re done. Note, his name has no C, and he shares his name with the first real movie vampire, Count Orlok, who was created when Bram Stoker’s estate sued to the studio behind the classic film Nosferatu in 1922. Read more about him here First Appearance: The ROTJ comic strip in the LA times. He got eaten by worms Menndo Menndo is basically Greedo. He does shoot first in this game. Also, he’s just a basic saboteur. So yeah, not much to say First Appearance: This Game Griff Griff designed the Executor, but despite this isn’t a researcher. Go figure. Anyways, he’s standard issue, and wouldn’t be worth writing about much except he’s force sensitive in this run, so I’m gonna turn him into a sith if I can First Appearance: Classic Star Wars comics Rebel Characters Syub Snunb No, this isn’t Lando’s co-pilot from the Battle of Endor. All sullustans look alike to you don’t they you space racist? Anyways he’s an admiral. He’s standard issue First Appearance: Dark Empire Page This baby-faced guy leads a commando team renown for kicking rear end. He also has bad leadership and is a pure saboteur. Anyways, he’s also interesting in that he was created by Zahn, and then retroactively they picked an extra during ROTJ to be him. I will not use him in the canon challenge run regardless. First Appearance: Technically Thrawn Trilogy Carlist Rieekan Rieekan is a rebel general. He also has the purina logo on him. He’s basically a rebel counterpoint to Veers. Troop researcher, only good at leadership First Appearance: ESB Borsk Fey’lya Borsk is a weird dog like creature, and one of the slimiest characters of the old EU. In game, he’s good at alot of things, including diplo, espionage, leadership, and maybe combat? Been a while. First Appearance: Thrawn Trilogy Adar Tallon Adar Tallon is the Rebellion super-researcher, able to research anything. When I roll into Sluis sector, he’s the first to die. As well, he has decent leadership, and that’s it. First Appearance: WEG Vander Willard So, basically, the game devs hosed up. This is Bob Hudsol. But despite that, who cares? He’s a diplomat with some sick mutton chops. First appearance: ANH Huoba Neva Another Sullustan. She commanded a Frigate and ran into a rock and died. She is standard issue First Appearance: Dark Empire Lando Calrissian AKA Smooth Talkin ladies man from beyond the stars You all wish you were half as cool as Lando. He’s a con man, Gambler, Entrepreneur, General, and all around badass. He’s got some drat good stats, from great diplomacy, because of course, to good combat, espionage and leadership. Finally, the jewel in the cloak clasp is that he can research facilities. I am really sad he needs to die, and does not get voice clips. What the poo poo game. What the poo poo Orrimaarko So, prune face. Pure Saboteur. He’s decent enough. First Appearance: ROTJ Mazer Rackus So, this twi’lek had an abusive dad. Like actually. Fortunately, the writer’s never had him and Luke bond over that cause that would be stupid. Pure Saboteur. First Appearance: WEG.

Yeah. That shows the destination of the troops, not the origin point. They are building a garrison on a random outer rim planet. It is likely it's the hq. However if it is not, then it is also exceedingly like it is in the same sector.

I have watched every episode of rebels so far and while it is still quite clearly aimed for kids as an adult and a star wars fan it is quite enjoyable. I would recommend it even the filler episodes sometimes they are funny and other times not. In the end I found it was rather enjoyable and season three looks to be brilliant by what the teasers have shown.

Thrawn being canon is awesome for obvious reasons (woo, semi-canonized TIE fighter!), the other two semi-canonize KOTOR and KOTOR II (and TOR, to a much lesser extent).
