but like seriously besides eddie murphy+rick james being so adorable and that being great I think that the greatest song would have to be something from the greatest band of all time. And that question itself is also really open, like what makes a band great? Personally I think the greatest band (which is separate from favorite band) would have to be, not like some obscure choice but definitely popular, and have to have real staying power and be iconic across generations and there are only a few bands in that echelon... I'd say that would have to go to the Rolling Stones... Like with how hard they went the fact they survived and put out as much varied music with as many major hits across as many time periods as they did, it's unreal and the whole time jagger kept his swagger.
