Like most people, I'm too busy to listen to an entire song most of the time. And my short attention span means even if I listen to a normal length song, I often get bored with it before it's over, and skip to the next one after a minute or a minute and a half. So, short songs are great! I'm going to say a song qualifies if it's 2 minutes or less. It's pretty arbitrary, but you have to draw the line somewhere. I'd also like some lyrics beneath each song, to entice and tantalize. Oh man, the Residents! I was just reading the other day about that album--basically, they bought commercial time on a radio station and played their songs in the time slots. One of the few times they ever got airplay for any of their music, but a really interesting subversion of ad-space.
