KawaiiAtomicBombs posted:How do you feel about genocide and nuclear weapons? How would you feel if dragons were eradicating races and scorching the earth instead of people? Genocide is bad. As for nuclear weapons, I agree with Teller. They seem beneficial, at least for nations. But maybe nations shouldn't have such guarantees of existence, and should be able to collapse or be overthrown. Time will tell whether the peace of nuclear deterrence just leads to another form of despotism from governments that cease to have a certain perverse accountability. If dragons were guilty of genocide, I guess it would be a question of whether they all were or only most were. Obviously they should be stopped by force, and reasonable civilian casualties should be accepted, but not genocide unless all dragons are actually, concretely evil. Basically the same as with people. nigga crab pollock posted:have you considered trying to capitalize on your skill in The Dark Arts I have no skill. nigga crab pollock posted:also does being a dragon give you any innate skill bonuses or passive skills Empirically? what I hit on 4 depends entirely on the tee box. I know the pin but it rained a bunch today so they might change the box. It's probably a 6 iron but as a lefty who hits a draw I hope it's a 7 since the pin is going to be left

I couldn't make heads or tails of the former, but the latter was very useful for understanding myself as a perfectly free person whose concrete existence doesn't dictate my choices in any way. I've used my knowledge of this freedom mostly to make unethical decisions that went against the momentum of my life, though, so... Being in time means you do not separate your conscious self from reality. You are not a pretty pony. You are a being who exists and there is no higher power, such as god, your own brain, or your own superior being that dictates your interactions with reality. Heidegger is loving bleak, but it makes you focus on what is in front of you and again: Helps you understand when you are making excuses. HIGHLY recommend Sartre. You learn about the facts in your life, how attempting to transcend to a higher place is not such a good thing, and how your reflection in others is not just inevitable but is something to be cherished.

5 I can open way the gently caress up, so that's good and okay, it's birdie or par depending on if my second shot misses or hits the bunker 80 yards out

What do you feel when you visualize the mental image of Wario from the Mario series from Nintendo jacking off a can of coke at a brisk pace but his manimal palms crush the can of soda and soda sprays everywhere, dousing Wario and everything in a three foot radius of the soda can as Wario contemplates what went wrong through an ever unchanging visage of meth-induced greed plastered on his face?

6 is okay for driver but I gotta be careful. There's a bunker right and a bad bounce left. Not entirely sure, I might hit 3 wood off that tee. Either way, tomorrow's pin is protected by a slope and a nasty grass bunker. The tee shot doesn't really matter, the approach does.

Ville Valo posted:What are your thoughts on Terra Malatora, and could you run for mayor if it ever gets off the ground? I just became aware of him through these forums. I think the inner lives of people are fascinating, but that all ideas need to be measured against other people in some way otherwise they become rotten, no matter how impressive the impetus behind them. I don't have a lot of concrete respect for his escapist fantasies, however, partially because he apparently hasn't recognized them as such. I have no idea what the requirements are to run for mayor, and wouldn't want to be part of a society that didn't recognize property rights anyway. KawaiiAtomicBombs posted:How do you feel about anime and how would you feel if anime didn't exist There are some good anime, like Kino's Journey, and I would be sad if these didn't exist, but also glad that weaboos and their love for bad anime didn't exist. On 7, we're back to hybrid or 4 iron, maybe even 5 off the tee depending on wind and how wet the course is. This is another where the tee shot doesn't really matter, especially with a massive slope from back to front on the green the approach shot has to land above and left of the hole

9 we have a 220 yard carry over a ravine so u gotta hit driver after that it's a large uphill approach that is short if that makes sense. I should have about 110 in tomorrow but it will likely play about 125 with the wet and the uphill to a back right pin the green back right is easy tho, compared to short left.

I've read Sklansky and Janda and spent quite a few hours playing, so it's not like I'm entirely ignorant of how poker is supposed to work. I believe probabilities can be influenced through magick when it suits me, I guess, which from a rationalist perspective basically amounts to intermittent pure random play, which puts me closer to Game Theory Optimality, so suppose it's just a flight of fancy, or that it's the real thing. In either case, I've been learning how to make it work for me. But to answer your question, I am too poor to test my skills at the local casino, which I would do before hitting up Vegas, and I also just frankly hate poker quite a bit because it's not meritocratic and it's filled with morons who will call you a moron for losing to a ridiculous 2% equity bad beat and the like.
