Migraines suck rear end and can be a moving target.

You can manage the things that might trigger them, but sometimes it's hard to know. But when that loving aura hits...

Several years before his death Davis was on the phone negotiating a deal for a free agent. The sides were close to an agreement, but Davis suddenly began coughing badly, and his caretaker ended the call so Davis could take his prescription meds. When the sides resumed discussions later that day, Davis asked where they had left off. Taking advantage of the opportunity, the agent reminded Davis that they had agreed on the guaranteed money—but quoted a figure $1 million higher than what they had come to. Davis okayed the move and an agreement in principle was reached that night.

hot dogs, fresh cut grass, and school cafeteria pizza were all the worst. I could guarantee that if I caught a whiff of those and didn't get away from them in like 30 seconds, then the rest of my day was going to be agony.

now that I'm an adult I get one like once a year maybe, and I just :420: and sleep it off. sometimes that works, sometimes it doesn't.

no idea why those smells were the worst triggers, but they're the ones I still remember two decades later and still loving hate.

3. OT Russell Okung (2010): Never as good as we were hoping he'd be, but he was decent even with all the injuries and holding flags.
4. C Chris Spencer (2005): Pretty big dropoff here after the top three. Spencer was kinda meh but he started for several years before Max Unger eventually replaced him at center.

I agree with this 100%. It's kind of sad when the #2 comes with a "I think we overdrafted him" tag, and is still absolutely true.

Also, it should be noted that we didn't have a 2013 first round pick because we traded it for Percy Harvin :smithicide:

Especially when he missed his first Seattle training camp and only played in the games vs Minnesota and the Super Bowl that year.

He actually played the playoff game against the Saints!

Redoing the list. #1 is a tie because I don't know a single Chiefs fan who can pick which one of these two they'd take over the other

1. Derrick Johnson - best MLB in Chiefs history (who cares about 1960s football) tied with...
1. Tamba Hali - amazing pass rusher
2. Eric Berry - amazing, won't even have his career derailed by cancer
3. Dwayne Bowe - is kind of a punchline now, but he had quite a few good seasons with the Chiefs and is probably our franchise's best WR ever until Maclin accumulates some more stats
4. Dontari Poe - surprisingly turned into a beast despite a lot of fears he would bust
5. Branden Albert - Really good LT, especially at pass blocking. Had a few injury issues and took a bit to develop, but still real good.
6. Eric Fisher - Gets a lot of poo poo for being the #1 overall and not turning out great, but he has developed year over year and going into this season expectations are pretty high for him. A quality starter.
7. Glenn Dorsey - Kind of a bust? Projections for him coming out of LSU were sky high, he failed at a lot of stuff but became a good run defender at the least. A big, slow immovable anchor kind of DL.
8. Tyson Jackson - A more physically talented, worse Glenn Dorsey. Had disastrous rookie/2nd years, was showing mild signs of improvement before he left for Atlanta.
9. Jonathan Baldwin - The main outright bust on this list in the sense that he never started (Dorsey/Jackson at least started for 2-3 years, granted that was on a line with NO talent, but still, they played plays)

I'd probably swap Bowe and Poe but outside of that I think this is dead-on. As great as Jamaal Charles is, Derrick Johnson's felt like the face of the franchise in the post-Tony Gonzalez years.

I think Bowe gets a little bit of a bad rap because of the end, I mean the man never had a real quarterback other than a couple of years of Alex Smith who never trusted him. Also that happened maybe after he was already done as a potentially good receiver.

I like Poe a lot too, but who knows where his career will go from here.

First round picks. First round picks? This has been one of my biggest annoyances with the Bears over the last decade. Lets take a gander, shall we.

#1 - 2013(20) Kyle Long - By far the best pick of the bunch. Unfortunately, the dude is a guard. Having your best first round pick over a decade being at the least impactful position (not on special teams) is bad. Really bad.

#2 - 2004(14) Tommie Harris - Good for three years before falling off a cliff due to injury. The next interior Dlineman taken was Vince loving Wilfork.

#3 - 2007(31) Greg Olsen - Good player. Unfortunately, all of his production occurred with a different team because our offensive coaching staff was not aware that "Tight End" is actually a position that exists. So in all honestly, if we are actually measuring team impact, he should really be further down this list. Traded for peanuts because why have a player for a phony made up position.

#4 - 2005(4) Cedric Benson - Yikes. We're at number 4 and we have already reached the dregs. Thomas Jones was launched to hand the starting job to this idiot. The only memory I have of Cedric Benson having a good game was when he went off on the Bears as a member of the Bengals. Massive turd of a bust.

#5 - 2012(19) Shea McClellin - A 3-4 OLB drafted to be a 4-3 end. Then moved to linebacker because why the hell not. Has he been cut by the Pats yet?

#6 - 2011(29) Gabe Carimi - Olineman with back issues. Sucked and was cut. Went to the Bucs. Sucked and was cut. Went to the Falcons. Sucked and was cut. Probably getting fired from a Kinko's today.

#7 - 2008(14) Chris Williams - Olineman with back issues. Sucked and was cut. Indistinguishable from Carimi outside of the teams that cut him after the Bears.

And that's it. Seven picks over 10 years. The only one worth a first round pick is an over-drafted guard they probably could have grabbed in the second. Jerry Angelo and Phil Emery are both weird looking chodes that probably have weird looking kids that could have drafted better.

5: 2005: (3) Braylon Edwards WR Had a great year in 07 then got traded for getting in a fist fight with LeBron James entourage at a club in Cleveland, did decent on the jets for a little while then bounced around other teams. No longer in league

6: 2006: (13 ) Kamerion Wimbley OLB Who??? (looks on Wikipedia) oh had a good rookie year then kind of fell off after that, we traded him to the Raiders and used the pick to draft Colt McCoy. Looks to have had a solid career

7: 2004 : (6) Kellen Winslow TE Often injured, wrecked motorcycle, helped make goon history because a goon stole the hedge that he wrecked into, had a decent year in 2007, masturbated in a parking lot looking for Boston Market and subsequently got wrecked by Boston Market's twitter account. No longer in league

8: 2013: (6) Barkevious Mingo DE/OLB Just traded him to the Patriots, had one decent year with us and watch him start being a contributor

9: 2014: (8) Justin Gilbert CB Where to begin, traded down instead of taking Sammy Watkins, then traded back UP for him. He's an OK KR, sucks in coverage and is currently resting as high as FOURTH on our DB depth chart, on a team with one of the worst pass defenses in the league.

10: 2012: (22) Brandon Weeden QB He's old, off the team in 2 years, is a back up on a Texas team now. Either Cowboys or Texans, who can remember???

11: 2012: (3) Trent Richardson RB he sucks, but we convinced the colts to give us another 1st for him soooooo, still a terrible pick.

12: 2007: (22 )Brady Quinn QB We traded up for this guy? Not a good QB, got dicked around in stupid QB controversy then released(or traded, honestly who cares or remembers?)

13: 2014: (22) Johnny Manziel QB Too much to write, you all know anyway, oh yeah traded up for him.

Hall of Fame Caliber:
1. 2011: Von Miller: Well on his way to a hall of fame career, but still young. Super Bowl MVP, and if JJ Watt wasn't drafted in the same loving year he might have a DPOTY award to his name.

Great Picks:
2. 2008: Ryan Clady: A great Left Tackle for us when he stayed healthy. Wasn't quite a ten year bookend, but close enough.
3. 2010: Demaryius Thomas: Regressed a little this year, but the dude managed to flash talent with baby arm Peyton and dingus arm Tebow. He's still good. I hope.

Solid Role Players:
4. 2004: DJ Williams: Solid MLB for years for us. Never anything elite or special, but he filled a role and did it well.
5. 2013: Sylvester Williams: Still coming into his own, a very underrated part of our super bowl winning D.
6. 2006: Jay Cutler: Didn't get a lot of years out of him, but managed to get some big stats and a decent return from the Bears.

Bad:
7. 2009: Knowshon Moreno: Often injured, and never lived up to the billing of a first round back, but he had small successes here and there.
8. 2009: Robert Ayers: A huge bust for us, but at least other teams figured out he wasn't a 3-4 OLB and could never play the spot.
9. 2010: Tim Tebow: I mean... he sucked rear end, but he'll hold a special place in my heart for dunking on the Steelers in that one playoff game.

Super Bad:
10. 2007: Jarvis Moss: Flat out bust.

No first rounders in 2005 (traded down) or 2012 (traded down multiple times)

The fact that Brandon Weeden could be a team's fourth worst pick in a decade really defines the Browns.

Dogg did descriptions but did not actually do a ranking so here's my Lions take:

1. Calvin Johnson (2007): Arguably Top 5 wideout in history and second best Lion of all time
2. Ndamukong Suh (2010): Dominant defensive force who unfortunately was a casualty of all that insane money we had to tie up in Stafford and Megatron. Yeah he was dirty, but who gives a gently caress? We're also Pistons fans up here.
3. Matt Stafford (2009): Maddening sometimes but also unquestionably our best QB since Bobby Layne. Analogous to Jay Cutler in Chicago, but younger and with social skills.
4. Ziggy Ansah (2013): Raw prospect who has turned into a monster despite very little football experience. I wanted Dee Milliner here, lol
5. Roy Williams (2004): Was sort of a...star? For a little while anyway. Also bestowed the nickname Megatron, got us a huge haul from Dallas, and it was funny when he did the bow and arrow celebration when we were down by 30.
6. Nick Fairley (2011): Bit of a luxury pick when we could've had J.J. Watt. Very talented but suffered from Shaun Rogers syndrome.
7. Kevin Jones (2004): Had a thousand yard season once. Then got hurt a lot. That was the last time our running game was any good.
8. Riley Reiff (2012): Unremarkable and already moved to RT. We were very confused about drafting after a playoff season.
9. Brandon Pettigrew (2009): Was actually solid for a while, but then his hands turned to stone after he partially saw a gorgon's face.
10. Gosder Cherilus (2008): Mediocre penalty machine of a lineman.
11. Jahvid Best (2010): Who knew a guy who had a literal seizure in the endzone during his senior year would have to retire early!
12. Ernie Sims (2006): Made several tackles
13. Mike Williams (2005): Fat, bad and said there was "no room for pissing and moaning in this organization"

Special mention for 2003 pick Charles Rogers, passing out at On the Border and terrorizing his mom

Edit: I just looked up second rounders from this time period and holy poo poo you can't even retroactively draft as badly as this team. Those picks, in order: Teddy Lehman, Shaun Cody, Daniel Bullocks, Drew Stanton, Ikaika Alama-Francis, Gerald Alexander, Jordan Dizon, Louis Delmas, Titus Young, Mikel LeShoure, Ryan Broyles, Darius Slay.

Edit: I threw in 2014 because I cannot NOT mention Manziel/Gilbert when talking about Browns first rounds.

Justin GIlbert should be down in Johnny Football territory in my opinion. At least Weeden and Richardson were sort of like replacement level productive for a season or two.

I forgot that he was a top 10 pick too yeesh

10,363 snaps and not a playoff win to show for it

Gilbert is still on the team, and he might still develop into a massive reach instead of a bust.

Ravens fans putting anything but Matt Elam at the bottom of their list is seriously triggering.

1 AJ Green, the best WR alive and makes me think about Randy Moss a lot. Makes insane catches look completely effortless. Punted a ball into the stands when we were getting shithoused by the Steelers last year.

2A+2B Leon Hall and Johnathan Joseph. Both top notch cornerbacks. Leon was probably more consistent but also hosed up the OH GOD STOKELY play. JJo ended up being a cap casualty and we resigned Leon, who has only just left us now in 2016. JJo is probably a little better at his best but also gets beaten more. Both great players.

3 Kevin Zeitler has been extremely consistent in his time here and filled a huge need for us. I think we probably will pick up his option this year We picked up his option but I dont think he gets a long term deal. Rarely fucks up, and deserves to be at bare minimum a pro bowl alternate. Cap situation is gonna be ugly and he probably ends up on the Redskins or something.

4 Tyler Eifert is like a baby gronkowski. If you ignore injuries he's hands down the second best TE active right now. Unfortunately he hasn't played a full season yet and it doesn't look like that streak will be changing this year. Barring a colossal fuckup with his ankle injury he probably gets a fat contract this year or next.

5 Andre Smith was a perfectly serviceable RT when motivated, which was a crap shoot. Unfortunately he was drafted to play LT. Whitworth has made that unnecessary but yeah. Still surprised that between him, Jason Smith, and Eugene Monroe, Big Dre ended up being the best player. Should be solid for MIN.

6 Dre Kirkpatrick is a ballhawk corner who had zero picks last season. If Darqueze Dennard could stay healthy I'd say he's definitely gone and doubtful for an extension but if he bounces back this season I wouldn't be surprised to See him get a nice 4 year deal or something.

--- The Rest of these dudes are bad ---

7 Keith Rivers was never better than serviceable and as was mentioned also made that jerkoff Hines Ward look like a tough guy on a dirty hit. I wanted Sedrick Ellis here but he sucked too.

8 Chris Perry was a fumble machine in his limited time as our starter but his sucky performance did lead to the sniping of Ced Benson, who owned.

9 David Pollack would have been great but hosed up his back.

10 gently caress Jermaine Gresham and the no effort hole he climbed out of.
