This would be for an Alzheimer's patient. I'd like for it to be a watch or bracelet that they can wear and then if said person ever wanders off, we can go online and see where they are. I've been googling around and it seems like there are devices built for this reason, but a lot of them seem to have bad reviews. Others like http://minimerlin.com/ seem to require the person to keep it in their pocket which seems near impossible for somebody with Alzheimer's to do. The watch/bracelet seems like it would be more likely to actually stay on the person, although not guaranteed. Maybe there's an ankle monitor of sorts that can't be removed? gently caress Alzheimer's

Please don't take this the wrong way, but is there some sort of chip you can implant like what they have for pets.

Then you'd never have to worry about the device being taken off. I have the chip in my cat, but it works a bit differently. I can't go online and see my cats current location. But if my cat is lost and somebody turns him over to the pound, they can scan the chip and see that I am the owner. I think we currently do have a solution for this part of the problem but can't remember the exact details of how it works (tattoo or permanently attached medical bracelet thing, something along those lines I think?).
